Working for a leading, established independent insurance company based in Crewe, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a family run business who reward & develop their staff.
Reporting to the Directors, the main purpose of this role is to actively seek new clients and provide an administration service to all clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include:
* To actively seek new clients and obtain new business quotations via face to face meetings and phone calls
* To attend Networking meetings and other events, building relationships with commercial customers
* To review existing business at renewal stage, retaining clients
* To provide a high level of service to existing clients, dealing with their queries promptly
* To provide a high level of service by telephone and correspondence to clients in respect of potential new business interest, renewals and mid-term adjustments
* To liaise with Directors and Insurers to ensure best advice, quotes and effective and service is provided given to your clients
* Ensure internal computer systems are maintained in respect of own clients information

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
* Knowledge of general commercial insurance ideally but not imperative as training will be given
* Strong communication skills
* Working knowledge of internal systems including Microsoft Office
* FCA Regulations
