As the UKs largest independent drinks wholesaler, LWC Drinks strive to deliver the best customer service in the industry, as well as an impressive portfolio of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Were now looking for an Office Manager to join our depot in Newton Abbot.
Objectives of the job:
To organise and supervise all of the administrative/sales activities that facilitates the smooth running of the Depot.
Responsible for the line management of the staff within the office, including telesales, credit control, cash control and depot accounts.
Main Duties:
- Monitoring & Driving Telesales to increase sales, via out bound diaries and promotions (Supplier & LWC)
- Reviewing outbound diaries and maximising selling opportunities with Telesales team
- Running reports for Account Managers to minimise the down trading customers and ensuring attrition rate is below 5%
- Conducting all appraisals for Telesales & Administrative employees
- Developing and implementing new administrative systems. Ensuring the office as a whole runs as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Responsible for running monthly margin reports, with regards to retro credit report, ullage write offs, add backs, aged debt report. Also reports on loans, fridges and essential retros, free stock, and managing LWC support
- To clear/manage any out standings and pending issues
- Overview of the Credit Control Role and the releasing of orders
- Service charter, ensuring cut off times are met and orders are released
- Responsible for customer services within the depot, ensuring all queries are dealt with correctly and responsible for the overall customer care of the depot
- Responding to customer enquiries and complaints
- Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment
- Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, including interviews, training and inductions
- Responsible for delegating all administration duties to the relevant office staff; sorting out the post, confirmations, filing, processing orders etc.
- Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload
- Delegating work to staff and managing their workload and output
- Promoting staff development, training and disciplinary matters
- Administration of holiday requests and absence monitoring
Key Skills:
- Experience gained in a customer-facing environment
- Use of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records
- Full use of Trinity system, a quote system and CyberQuery
- Good team work skills, with office staff as well as drivers and warehousing staff.
- Good management and communication skills
- Use of the office till system
