We are looking specifically for a food service specialist who can support students in creating delicious over the counter food in our re-vamped Deli-bar and hot food area.

The area is high paced serving around 400/500 meals per break time and requires a good level of multitasking skills and patience whilst supporting students who are developing work experience skills alongside their curriculum catering courses.

Main duties will include:

Basic Food preparation making Baguettes, Salads & Serving foods prepared by students within the training kitchen
Set up the food display and promotion of specials and meal deals to improve sales
Stock and wastage control with particular focus on covering/labelling and allergens regulation.
Keeping a consistent approach to food hygiene tasks and to maintain the importance of cleanliness to the student workforce.
Support in Café, food service areas and hospitality as required
Use of Epos till system and taking cash/card payments
Must have an ability to work with a team of hospitality training students to deliver a professional service.
Overtime available in/out of term time

Experience is advantageous but not essential as we can train in any area you are currently lacking although a passion for food and food hygiene is a must along with a friendly outgoing personality and committed hard working approach to tasks.
