I am currently looking for a Financial accountant working within London. This is a permanent role Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30.

Your duties will be reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant the primary function of the Financial Accountant is to ensure that financial performance objectives are met and financial control is executed within the Finance Function.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Assist calculating and posting of SG&A costs on behalf of Brands and Central Services including property, marketing, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany, cash, accruals /prepayments and provisions.
Monthly review of Central Services cost centres against forecast and budget ensuring all variances are understood.
Work with key stakeholders in Central Services to ensure accurate forecasting.
Completion of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist Group Finance Manager with monthly consolidation and financial reporting requirements for Zurich.
Responsibility for monthly ICOFR internal controls testing.
Assist with annual budget process for Central Service functions and wider UK&I Group.
Assist with quarterly reporting and analysis.
Support team in preparation for regular internal and external audits.
Ad-hoc duties and special projects as requested by the Senior Financial Accountant and Group Finance Manager.
Work closely with other Finance teams across London and BBP including Brands, Tax, Treasury, MI, BBP Financial Control and Shared Services.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders within Finance and across Central Service functions.

You must be advanced within Excel - using pivot tables, spread sheets and V-look ups.

You will be working on behalf of a Global organisation dealing with a huge organisation.
