Search Consultancy is working with a Lancashire service to recruit a temporary Special Educational Needs and Disability Officer for their Integrated Assessment Team.

You will manage the transfers of statements to EHC plans.

You will provide a key working role to CYP and their families who are undergoing an education, health and care assessment or have an education, health and care plan, across the 0-25 age range, including the management of complex cases.

You will undertake the statutory integrated assessment processes within the statutory deadlines.

You will coordinate a person centred, outcome focused multi agency approach to assessment, planning and support ensuring that parents are treated as equal partners in the assessment and planning process.

You will provide effective and efficient commissioning of suitable educational provision and school placement for children with an EHC Plan, with a focus on accountability for outcomes.

You will be able to prioritise and manage conflicting work streams.
