The company

This role is working for a well-established prepared foods manufacturer which produces a very well-known brand available in all of the UK major retailers. This role will give you the opportunity to play a key part in the companys overall strategic business plan.

The job

Reporting to the Senior Home Economist, the main purpose of this role is to assist in development of new branded products from concept through to launch, including supporting development of consumer recipes, cooking instruction generation and finished product evaluation.

Your experience

To be considered for the NPD Assistant, you will perhaps be educated to a degree standard in a food science discipline or equivalent or possess some development or technical experience within the food manufacturing industry and be looking for your next step in the industry. However, essentially you will be extremely passionate about food together with a creative and flexible approach. You will be a team player, be able to take initiative and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

The NPD Assistant job is based in the North Yorkshire region and is paying a highly competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
