Excellent opportunity to join a leading business within Multi-Utility

Company Overview

Our client is one of the UK's leading businesses within Multi Utilities. An investor in people, then are committed to the training and development of their employees. They have a huge order book, with multi-million pound contracts with large housing developers all over the UK. The wider organisation has interests in power transmission and distribution, water, civils, etc. They are going from strength to strength and opening another new office in the South East.

Role Outline

This role doesn't require any formal qualifications, just proven experience at organising and coordinating multiple projects within a utilities, construction, or similar environment. An integral part of the role is developing relationships with key stakeholders, such as: housing developers, local councils, and other departments within the organisation. This role is fast-paced and can at time be pressured, however it is a key role and there is the potential to gain leadership / management experience as the planning department grows.

Ideally you will come from a Multi-Utilities business where you are involved in understanding developers requirements, coordinating with the council, liaising with asset (land or development) owners, the design department, and the delivery department. There can be circa 50+ sites at any one time which will all require coordinating, so expert organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

* Reporting directly into the Multi Utilities Planner
* Coordinating Multi-Utility projects.
* Interfacing with key stakeholders.
* Building relationships with developers, other departments and local authorities

Requirements

* Excellent communication skills.
* Highly organised.
* Very proficient in the use of Excel, and other software packages.
* Able to build strong professional relationships.
