Due a change in operations in the UK, there is a exciting opportunity to support our Shrewsbury based clients quality/production department.
The role will require working closely with various areas of the business and customers/suppliers to ensure new product is introduced smoothly, existing product quality is improved, reduce PPM's and actions put in place to reduce risk to customer.
Progression from this role is potentially into a manufacturing / quality engineer role.

Key Duties:
General inspection duties using digital calipers , height gauges etc.
Carry out audits as required on production processes / components to ensure conformity.
Processing of non conforming parts and the instigation of containment action when required..
Creation of Initial sample Inspection reports (ISIR) for sample approval process.
Ensure calibration of all inspection equipment.
Carry out cleanliness audits on components and wash facilities.
Liaison with customers / suppliers as needed.
Shop floor drawing control
Divert board management
Creation of standard operation procedures for inspection processes.
Other duties may be required to fulfil the business needs.

Reporting to Quality Engineer.
Direct interface with: Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Product Development, and suppliers/customers.

Price / Salary: £22000 - £25000/annum
