Job description

Kuehne+Nagel Ltd are working on behalf of Whitbread to ensure the safe delivery of chilled, frozen and ambient products to more than 2500 Costa Coffee, Premier Inns and associated restaurant chains throughout the UK. The Whitbread contract is predicted to grow by over 10% year on year. Our specialist team continues to grow to meet the requirements of this demanding and dynamic contract.

We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join our innovative and award winning Food Services Team. To provide a first class professional service delivery service whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction is the highest of priorities. To ensure that all products are delivered within temperature regime and agreed timescales. All duties to be completed in accordance with transport legislation and working time directive.

As part of the Whitbread driving team you will deliver a specialist service to the UK Costa Coffee estate. Through compliance with food safety standards and company policies and procedures the team will achieve a proactive and dynamic approach to exceeding our service level agreements.

The KN Whitbread team operate a new and diverse fleet and pride ourselves on being leaders within the industry for vehicle technology. Our fleet operate with vehicle mircolise telematics, forward and reverse cameras and cyclist proximity alarms. In addition we are industry pioneers in logistics through the use of innovation surrounding dual fuel and electric vehicles. Your Main focus will be:

* Operating a dual temperature controlled vehicle
* Comply with food safety standards
* Comply with transport legislation and working time directive
* Maintaining and promote a positive image of Kuehne+Nagel and the Whitbread Brands Safe and high driver standards and positive driver behaviours Follow all delivery and returns procedures
* Maintain and manage company equipment

Your skills and experience

* Must hold a current class C licence
* Basic numeracy and conversational English language
* Hold a valid driver qualification card
* Preferred 2 years driving experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong Customer Service skills with a pride in delivery
