JOB TITLE: Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling

Client: My client offers a wide range of total Waste Management and recycling services, ranging from: Skip hire, hazardous waste removal, metal recycling and electrical waste recycling. Due to current growth, they now have a unique opportunity for an Operations Manager at their busy facility.

SALARY: Up to £25,000 with Bonus and Pension

REGION: Exeter

PREVIOUS ROLES: Operations Manager, Depot Manager, MRF Manager, Waste Management and Recycling Manager, Plant Manager, Recycling Site Manager, Site Transfer Station Supervisor, RDF Production manager, MBT Plant Manager, SRF Production Manager.

PREVIOUS SECTORS: Waste Management, Hazardous Waste, Plant, Grab Hire, Skips, RoRos, Construction, Landfill, Demolition, Metals, Aggregates, Steel, Production, WEEE, Electricals, Electronics.

ROLE:
In the role of Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 15 operatives on my clients site.
This role is a hands-on position where you will be required to cover the mobile plant and weighbridge operations on site.
You will also be providing holiday and sick cover where required.
Further to this, you will ensure that the operators and mobile plant operatives are adhering to all health and safety regulations and compliance.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling

WAMITAB would be preferable.
You will be IT literate.
Operators licence advantageous.
You MUST have gained previous experience of working within a Waste management or Recycling environment.
You could hold any of the following licences:
FLT
Loading shovel
Digger
Swing shovel
Telehandler
