Protocol Education are recruiting on behalf of a special needs school in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for a teaching assistant to work in one of their classes for children with autism.

The role is to start in January and is a full time role during term time.

The pupils at the school are between the ages of 4 and 6 years and all have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The position is likely to start as a long term contract and if the trial period is successful you will become a permanent member of staff.

The successful applicant will have experience working with children with special needs in a classroom or non-classroom environment. You must be a proactive and personable character who is able to work well with children of different ages and needs. You will join an experienced team of teachers and teaching assistants. The school are very positive and supportive and like to train their staff and develop their skills within their role. Graduates are desirable, particularly if they would like to develop their career within the school.

The most important pre-requisite is a friendly and kind nature and a lot of energy!

Price / Salary: £70 - £80/day
