This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant charity.

You will be the regional Press Officer you will be cultivating relationships with local press, regional contacts, digital media, local celebrities, opinion formers and internal and external stakeholders.

You will need previous experience in a PR/Press Office role with a track record of successful media relations, either in-house or agency and preferably within a charity.

Experience of PR campaign management, ability to run campaigns using initiative and to drive these from start to finish. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail. Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You should have a good eye for a story and the ability to develop a strong media hook. Confident, friendly and a great team player.

A valid UK drivers license is essential due to travel around the region
