Title: Field Service Engineer Sewerage Treatment

Client: Our client is a well- recognised name within the Waste Management and Water Treatment industry. They are now looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to work on a range of Water and Sewerage Treatment equipment in a field service position.

SALARY: Up to 45,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Pension

LOCATION: You can live in Chippenham, Bath, Swindon, Newbury and the surrounding areas.

You may have worked in the following industries: Water Treatment, Sewerage Treatment, Water Management, Effluent, Waste Water

PREVIOUS TITLES: Field Service Engineer, Fitter, Field Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Installation Engineer, Mechanical Engineer.

ROLE:

In this position, you will undertake repairs of sewerage treatment equipment according to timelines as agreed.

You will be responsible for repairing and servicing mobile plant equipment, such as Sewage Treatment Plants, Cesspools, Septic Tanks, Pumping Stations and Pumps.

You will complete preventative maintenance on all moving parts, working to improve overall performance in order to reduce down time of equipment and to reduce costs incurred.

You will work within all site health and safety procedures and company guidelines.

EXPERIENCE: Mobile Fitter Pumps and Effluent

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is required for this position.

Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Multi-skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Mobile Maintenance Technician in a Water Treatment, Sewerage Treatment, Water Management, Effluent, Waste Water background or related is essential.

You will have excellent mechanical fault - finding skills and experience of working with Pumps.

Previous experience with Effluent Treatment Plants, Cesspools, Septic Tanks or Pumping Stations would be beneficial.

You will have ideally undertaken an engineering apprenticeship and be a qualified Mechanical Engineer / Fitter / Maintenance Technician C & G / NVQ Level 3 / HNC etc. Any electrical qualifications would also be beneficial.

You may have worked in the following industries: Water Treatment, Sewerage Treatment, Water Management, Effluent, Waste Water
