PRODUCT MANAGER (SYSTEMS ENGINEERING)

LOCATION - TELFORD

PERMANENT

£36,000 - £38,000 + Pension + Benefits

Days - Monday - Friday (8:45am - 5:00pm)

Owing to expansion and increasingly buoyant market place, a market leading design and manufacturer of Automated Machinery has an exciting opportunity for a technically minded Product Manager to join their business.
Working within this significantly expanding company, you will be involved in providing Technical & Commercial Support to their subsidiary businesses across the globe.
Working on a variety of exciting new design assignments this role offers fantastic product variation and new technology design. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a technically challenging role within an established, yet growing business.

Role & Responsibilities
* Concept Design of Automation Systems for Heavy Industrial Applications
* Preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
* Preparation of all documentation for the attendance of bidding projects.
* Involvement in on-site customer visits and pre sales project reviews
* Capacity planning and analysis of automation systems.
* Keep up to date with company products and competitor activity in the market.
* Reporting directly to the Senior Products Manager - Systems

Required Skills & Experience
* Product Management or Project Engineering Experience.
* Strong Technical Knowledge / Engineering Principles.
* Proven Problem Solving Ability.
* HNC / ONC / HND or Degree Qualified in an Engineering Discipline.
* Ability to work efficiently within a team and autonomously as an individual.
