Job Title - Technical Assistant
Package - Up to £18,000 - £22,000 + Package (DOE)

The Company:
We are currently searching for an experienced Technical Assistant, for our client a highly successful housing developer that has experienced steady growth and has established themselves as a leading name in the Residential market. Their projects are all based in the Warrington area, making this a great opportunity for an individual in the area looking for a local opportunity. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong track record in delivering exceptional projects on time and on budget.
Role duties:
* A working knowledge of AutoCad LT
* Assist with the co-ordination of quotes/orders for services/utilities
* Assist with the co-ordination of general engineering information and application forms
* Assist with the co-ordination of NHBC/LABC building control and warranty provision and Robust Detail registration
* Assist in the collation and issue of tender, construction and pre-start drawings
* Use of an electronic document Control System
To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
* The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of working in a technical related environment within a house building/construction industry.
* You should have a good knowledge of housebuilding, NHBC/LABC Building Control and Warranty registrations and conditions sign-offs.
* You should have a good knowledge of Services Procurement, Tender & Construction Issue Packs / Document Control, and be able to co-ordinate multiple developments at varying stages of progress and prioritise tasks.
* Good communication skills, good understanding of construction methods, well organised and a methodical approach, proficient with IT (Microsoft packages, AutoCAD LT, Excel A-Site etc.) and a high attention to detail, are skills you will possess, in addition you will be highly organised, familiar with co-ordinating multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive on working to deadlines.
