---BACKGROUND---
TIME Recruitment is currently working with a large health & social care provider in selecting a Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to help manage a care home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. Working closely with the Service Manager, this Deputy Manager position offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious nurse looking to progress.
With room for up to 45 residents, the service provides long-term nursing and residential care, as well as respite and palliative care. The home, a tastefully refurbished stately home, is easily accessible from across Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
---THE ROLE---
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a leading role in the provision of top-class care and support to residents. Putting your training to good use, you will be expected to utilise a range of clinical skills, demonstrating a natural flair for leadership. Previous experience of leading a team within a care setting is essential.
Liaising closely with the Home Manager, you will be given an opportunity to lead teams of care staff on a daily basis. You will need a good working knowledge of CQC regulations and expectations, along with other relevant legislation.
The role combines clinical and supernumerary duties, offering you a real combination of close resident contact and genuine managerial responsibility. You will step up in the Home Manager's absence and be given a real insight into the operational side of the home.
