Passionate Geography Specialist Teacher with QTS status required for an all-through Independent School in Bristol. The Geography Teacher will be required on a full-time basis to teach KS3 KS5 including GCSE OCR B specification and A Level Edexcel specification. There is a full fieldwork programme organised and the department and students are keen participants of local GA Activities including the World Wise Quiz and the Sixth Form Challenge. The post is a maternity cover and will involve teaching 30 periods over 5 days. The role will start on the 4th January and finish on or close to the 15th December.

The School is set in impressive grounds and ran by a dedicated and happy staff-force. The Geography department has excellent facilities and resources along with a well-equipped designated Geography room. The department aims to provide a wide-ranging curriculum that stimulates student curiosity, interest and enjoyment of the subject whilst raising awareness of contemporary issues and the processes that affect our environment. The team are looking to welcome a Teacher with infectious enthusiasm and energy as well as a proven record in delivering excellent results at A Level.

Have Qualified Teacher Status within the U.K.
Recent experience teaching Geography to GCSE and A Level
Experience of working at high-achieving Schools
Infectious enthusiasm for the subject
