My client is a corrugated packaging manufacturer which has been well established for over 50 years and is still growing from strength to strength. The company offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and forward thinking skilled rotary die cut machine operator to join them, could this be you?

You will be working in a positive and a fast paced environment which you will be very active having to stand on your feet and ensure that you always have a keen eye for detail. In the Benfleet area you will be working appealing and sociable shifts of 7:30am-4pm on a weekday basis. Reporting to your friendly production manager your role will include a variety of exciting duties to include the following amongst others;

- Setting up print and die cut sections of die cutter in accordance with set up techniques
- Inspecting all equipment including anilox rolls before and after each run to ensure in a good working order
- Monitor box quality, including but not limited to delaminating, warp and print
- Maximising the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed
- Troubleshooting when operating issues may occur
- Train other colleagues to pass on knowledge and expertise

- A diploma or equivalent and at least 1 years experience or training in the corrugated industry and up to 6 months experience working with press and finishing (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Good basic IT skills for data entry
- You must be fluent and able to read and write in English due to health and safety
- Good mathematical skills with the ability to understand proportions, percentages, volume and algebra
