Assistant Accountant

£25,000k Pro Rata, Depending on experience

Part Time, Permanent Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join one of our top clients based in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team.

This position is 3 days per week.

The Role:

* Taking ownership of the accounting process from start to finish to produce monthly management accounts
* Creating and posting journals
* Trial Balance reconciliations
* Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
* Prepayments
* Accruals
* P&L production
* VAT returns
* Maintaining the fixed asset register
* Annual budgets
* Regular forecasts
* Audit preparation
* Producing various MI reports
* Ad-hoc duties

The Ideal Candidate:

* Experience in a similar position
* AAT, CIMA or ACCA part qualified (desirable)
* Advanced Excel knowledge
* Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
* Organised and have good attention to detail
* Must be adaptable and confident
* Good communication skills, verbal and written
