SLD Graduate - South Manchester Primary School

We are looking to appoint an SEN to work as a teaching assistant and support a pupil in KS1 who has moderate speech and language delay. The position is at an OFSTED graded "excellent" school and is located in the Cheadle-Hulme area of Manchester.

The pupil will need support both within and outside of the classroom in interventions to promote their speech and language development. The pupil can sometimes become frustrated and will need support in managing these frustrations.

The ideal teaching assistant will have:
* A degree with the focus of speech and language therapy
* Experience working with children with learning disabilities
* DBS dated within the last year, on the update system or willing to get a new one

This is a full time, temporary post in a two form entry primary school located in South Manchester.

A registration process will need to be followed before starting the role, therefore you must be able to provide two references demonstrating the above skills.
