Vehicle Technician
Salary: UP TO £32,000K (Salary is depending on experience)
Based in Essex

We are seeking a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team. To accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customers complete satisfaction.

VEHICLE TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·To ensure that all repairs are carried out correctly, first time.
·To carry out a vehicle health check on every vehicle, completing the appropriate form and passing this onto the Workshop Controller.
·To ensure all labour is recorded on job cards via the clocking system, for invoicing purposes, whether chargeable or not.
·To correctly record all material usage for each job.
·To ensure write ups on job cards are accurate, to include fault, diagnosis and rectification.

VEHICLE TECHNICIAN SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

·Diagnostic Technician / NVQ Level 3 qualified
·Dealership experience or Large Independent experience
·Experience working with high volumes of work
·Aptitude for multi-tasking.
·An eye for detail.
·Ability to work under pressure.
·Quality awareness.
·Communication skills.
·Full driving licence.
·MOT Licence preferred but not essential.
