This highly successful CNC Manufacturer are looking for a Mechanical Technician who is based within the East Midlands Region to join their team in a field based role, maintaining and servicing their machinery at customer sites across the midlands. The ideal candidate will have experience of maintaining and servicing machinery mechanically and ideally electrically. You will be working a 40 hour week and this role offers a salary of £24K + Van + Laptop + Phone + Company Bonus (OTE £30K)

The Job

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Servicing the company's range of machine tools at their customer's sites, both electrically and mechanically
- Replace and refurbish any parts that have worn or become damaged
- Complete machine tool alignments within set tolerances
- Provide operational and maintenance training for customers on site
- Advise customers of the benefits of preventative maintenance service contracts
- Carry out service contracts and provide customers with detailed reports of machines' condition & parts required

The Person

The successful candidate will:

- Have experience within an Engineering role
- Have a recognised engineering qualification
- Be experienced in the service, maintenance or fitting of machinery
- Be flexible to travel within 60 miles of Derby
