One of my exciting clients is looking to recruit a Server Support Technician into their team. Working as a member of a small team, the role would suit either an experienced or junior Server Support Technician.

My client is a well known and established company who pride themselves on professionalism and innovation, and provide fantastic customer care.

The role is to ensure smooth operation of the company server infrastructure through knowledge, skill, planning and investigative work. In addition you will coach, guide and impart knowledge to IT Technicians.

The Skills required for this role are:
Knowledge of maintaining and fixing Windows Server platforms
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Knowledge of LAN and WAN
VMware and Hyper-V
Knowledge of SQL and Oracle
Knowledge of system hardware platforms including HP/ Dell/ IBM
Knowledge of MS Exchange messaging systems
Knowledge of ITIL procedures and project lifestyle
