Geo - Environmental Engineer - Birmingham- £Competitive

Are you an experienced Geo - Environmental Engineer? Are you looking for a new opportunity in the Birmingham area? If so, our client want to hear from you.

The successful Geo - Environmental Engineer will be joining one of the UK's largest Geotechnical and contaminated land consultancies based within their Birmingham offices. Our client's Geosciences team provide consultancy and design services to a range of external clients such as Engineers, House Builders, infrastructure and power supply.

Upon joining the team as a Geo-Environmental Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to:

* managing and carrying out preliminary risk assessments,
* site walkovers,
* geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations,
* earthworks testing and supervision,
* verification of remediation works
* installation of gas membranes.

The role of Geo-Environmental Engineer with our client is varied so it is important to have a well-rounded background with circa 4 years in the sector.

As a Geo - Environmental Engineer with our client you will need a BEng, BSc or MSc in either Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering. Safety Critical Qualifications including CSCS, First Aid, SSSTS and Asbestos in Soil and a Full Driver's Licence are also required.
