Contract Personnel is working alongside a well-established insurance broker to recruit a new addition to their Commercial Team. We are looking for a Commercial Account Handler who ideally has experience in the motor trade and fleet sectors, although other lines will also be considered.

You will be joining the Commercial team, managing your own bank of existing clients and will be dealing with their renewals & adjustments, providing sales support for both internal and external partners, so a solid understanding of commercial lines within the industry will be really useful (the company will also consider training the right person into this role).

Day-to-Day duties will include:

* Making outbound calls, booking appointments from warm leads
* Receiving inbound calls, completing fact-finds for a range of commercial products, fleert commercial vehicles, shops, tradesmen, household, travel events and motor trade
* Policy administration including processing renewals, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, claims and general cover enquiries
* Negotiate premiums and terms with Underwriters
* Development of own client base through cross sales and lead generation
* Development of this role will include research and learning the wide variety of product ranges in order to be able to confidently present to clients, converting to sales

Ideally with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, you will enjoy using your communication skills to build relationships with a wide range of clients and have a confident and outgoing, can-do attitude.
