Job Title: Fleet Cascade & Disposals Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Package

Vacancy Overview

Working for the Group Head of Fleet Management this new position will be responsible for the internal cascade and external remarketing of their fleet of vehicles.
You will manage, develop and implement the group Cascade and Disposal Policy, maintain accurate records of internal surplus fleet and continually review the demand to maximise internal cascade opportunities.
Where no internal demand exists you will manage and develop asset disposal channels externally to maximise the return on end of life vehicles across Europe including the management of the on-line sales portal.
In addition you will be responsible for creating & managing systems to assist in the monitoring and setting of realistic sales prices, to ensure effective cascade, while being targeted to achieve above market values on external sales.

Responsibilities

Fleet Remarketing of fleet, internal cascade and external disposal across the group
Work with Head of Fleet Management and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement organisations cascade and disposal policy:
Identifying & implementing internal cascade opportunities
Manage on-line sales portal
Setting selling / market pricing
Disposal plans to maximise values
Maintain close liaison with key stakeholders, and create a networked function to ensure a co-ordinated and structured approach to all aspects of the cascade and remarketing process
Create specification registers to understand business needs where second life vehicles fulfil their requirements and proactively match with surplus fleet to maximise cascade potential
Management of on-line sales portal to ensue all surplus vehicles are loaded and made available for internal cascade or external sale within agree time lines
Develop sales strategies where a high volume of vehicles become available so not to flood the market
Agree internal sales price & process to ensure vehicles are delivered in an operational condition, in line with Organisations s expected maintenance procedure
Manage & develop current market value calculator and sales records to help inform & predict the future residual values of vehicle fleet across the group
Act as a subject matter expert for fleet remarketing across the business and where required mediate where sales value is a barrier to internal cascade
Maintain and develop fleet cascade and disposal policies and processes across the group & measure / improve compliance through KPI reporting
Work with engineering to assess the viability of recycling parts from vehicles versus selling, is addition maintain a register to ensure and cannibalised vehicle is disposed of in a timely and environmentally manor once the donor parts have been harvested.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

University Graduate or equivalent
Significant relevant and demonstrable fleet management & remarketing experience in vehicle fleet for an organisation with multiple business units in multiple countries.
Strong track record of success in delivering business value through effective fleet optimisation and remarketing
Ability to analyse financial information, understand the business context and extract key facts to deliver improvement and opportunities.
Excellent communication and influencing skills
