Job: Quality Engineer

An automotive parts manufacturer is searching for an experienced Quality Engineer to join the business on a full time permanent basis at their site in Welshpool.

Key responsibilities for the successful Quality Engineer will include:

* Utilising core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, 8D
* Performing process audits when required
* Involvement with supplier APQP and buy off
* Maintaining Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental standards
* Liaising with customers and suppliers when required
* Assisting with the development of the company's quality systems, namely TS16 949

The successful Quality Engineer will possess the following attributes and experience:

* Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical and methodical approach to solving quality issues
* Proven experience in APQP & PPAP submission
* Experienced with TS16 949 Quality Management System standards
* Any CATIA experience is advantageous
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Ability to lead new projects and promote good quality practices
