Design Engineer

Swindon

£30000 to 33000 Basic Salary + 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays + Generous Company Pension + Monday to Thursday 8am 4.45pm, Friday 8am 12pm

This an exciting opportunity to join a stable manufacturer, who offer excellent training opportunities and stable employment in a growing business renowned for the professional development of their staff.

The successful candidate will be a design engineer, with experience working on ANY 3D CAD package; the company primarily use Creo, though candidates do not need experience of this as training can be provided. Candidates must have knowledge of hydraulics or fluid power systems.

The company are a steadily growing manufacturer, producing primarily for the automotive sector. They are well known for nurturing their staff, and offer long-term stability working alongside a supportive team.

The Role:

* 50% 3D CAD design and BOMs
* 25% Practical testing; manufacturing and analysing sample parts
* 25% Production support, theoretical analysis
* The role is split 75%/25% re-modification and concept design respectively

The Candidate:

* ANY 3D CAD package experience
* Knowledge of hydraulics or fluid power systems
* Have an analytical approach to design
