Your new company
Our client who are a market leader in the shipping / logistics industry are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Co-ordinator to work in their Corporate City Centre Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-known and established organisation.

Your new role
You will be required to provide rate quotations to customers, support the external sales team and focus on business development for the products. The main purpose of your role will be to work closely with the Inside Sales Manager to develop business, meet targets and provide competitive rate quotations to customers.Your key responsibilities will be to target new business, achieve growth on products, work closely with procurement to secure competitive prices, maintaining relationships and proactively make outbound calls based on the quote log and update the CRM system effectively. The ideal candidate will also get involved in identifying business trends, providing reporting for the management team along with market analysis, ensure customers are made aware of charges and issue all internal and external sales staff with all tariffs / surcharges and amendments.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous freight forwarding and internal sales experience along with account management experience. You will be a team player with excellent customer service skills, be able to cope well under pressure and demonstrate that you are a quick learner. Good knowledge of systems will be key and be able to work to KPI's.
