An Electronics Test Engineer is sought by a Tyneside based company to join their growing team.

The role will involve performing tests based on set procedures and make recommendations for improvement in the efficiency of testing, confirming products are correctly built and conform to test procedures and liaising with engineering on new product introduction handover to ensure testing is to a production standard. You will also fault find down to component level, maintain equipment used to interface product under test, produce procedures and provide training for operators and technicians in the safe use and maintenance of test equipment and support and develop new automatic test equipment to ensure that products meet specifications.

The successful candidate will have 2 years electronics test experience and have a H NC/HND Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent. You must be able to fault find down to component level, have an understanding of digital & analogue electronics and ideally have experience designing automated test equipment, new product introduction from engineering prototypes. Any understanding of motor drives, inverters or similar technologies would be beneficial.
