About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Extraction Technician to join an enthusiastic team delivering environmental chemistry services to a wide range of clients across the UK with the UK`s number one testing, inspection and compliance company.
Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of Infrastructure and Energy. Now we need a Extraction Technician to perform analytical tasks and duties to the required standard, specifications and time constraints. To be responsible for the quality of their own work and to undertake non routine tasks as and when required.
You will:

- Be preparing soil and water samples in line with Environmental Chemistry procedures and participate, where requested, in appropriate PT schemes.
- Be responsible for maintaining good laboratory practice at all times, following methods, standard operating procedures, rules and regulations as well as maintaining laboratory equipment and safe working procedures.
- Be aware of and conform to the Laboratory Quality system, specifically UKAS (ISO17025) and MCERTS requirements.
- Adhere to and support the Line Manager in attaining the production and quality targets of the department.

We`re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed and you must have a can-do attitude. You must also have:

- Experience of laboratory procedures, principles and methods.
- Problem solving abilities and to be able to make sound decisions.
- Knowledge of chemistry
- Computer literacy
