Refrigeration Engineer / Service Engineer required for an Eastleigh based company that are an established market leader in the sale, installation and maintenance of refrigerated commercial catering equipment, products include ice cream and frozen beverage systems. They operate throughout the UK, so travel and the occasional overnight stay are to be expected.

The Refrigeration Engineer / Service Engineer will be tasked with the installation and maintenance of their refrigerated products that are widely used throughout the commercial catering industry; customers are within the retail and commercial sector including pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants.

The refrigeration equipment and systems will include soft ice cream machines, frozen beverage equipment, and shake machines as well as chilled cabinets, fridges and freezers.

The Refrigeration Engineer must be qualified and hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or the City & Guilds equivalent as well as a valid F-Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants certificate. It is also anticipated that the Service Engineer will have some electrical fault finding skills.

This role would suit a qualified refrigeration engineer with electrical skills or a commercial catering engineer providing you hold F-GAS certification.

Based from the Eastleigh area attending sites throughout the UK for the installation and maintenance of refrigerated commercial catering equipment products for customers within the retail and commercial sector.

Refrigeration Engineer / Service Engineer Position Requirements

* Proven refrigeration background preferably with experience of commercial catering equipment
* NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* Safe Handling of Refrigerants or F-Gas (City & Guilds 2079)
* Electrical fault finding skills
* Based within 30 miles of Eastleigh
* Driving Licence

* Basic Salary of £26K - £28K
