Role: Depot Manager / Operations Manager - Water Sector
Salary: £30-40,000 dependant on experience
Location: Between Colchester and Braintree
Employment: Full time permanent
My Client is based between Colchester and Braintree and have a vacancy for a Depot Manager / Operations Manager to join their team due to expanding operations and the opening of a new depot.
The role will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy team of engineers who work in the water sector attached servicing a range of clients from private sector through to Water Utility Companies.
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy depot with the below responsibilities:
-Managing best practice with in the depot
-Ensure that the clients needs are met
-Control and coordinate a team of engineers to ensure work is carried out at customer sites
-Day to day management of engineers and office staff
-Commercial and performance management of contract
-Managing client and engineer KPI's
The ideal candidates will have:
-Previous experience of "depot management" or operational management of a team of engineers.
-This experience should be served in an engineering, transport or logistics sector ideally
-Ability to interact and manager clients as well as coordinate internal office staff and site engineers

In this role you will be given remote support and well as on the job training to get you up to speed with industry sector process and company procedures so candidates from any industry are suitable however if you have worked in, Logistics, transport, engineering, water sector, AMP6, any operations relating to water utility companies such as Thames Water, pipeline repair, maintenance, drainage, CCTV, jetting, Tankering or similar that would be highly advantageous.
In this role you will be given the autonomy to put your own stamp on day to day operations and encouraged to make improvements and streamline current processes.
On offer is a salary of £30-40,000 + package dependant on your industry and professional experience.
