We are looking for a candidate to join the Application Support Team on a permanent basis. The main responsibility for this position will be to troubleshoot and apply fixes to the main data management application and the underlying SQL databases in order to allow smooth running of Production, Order Processing, Query Processing and Data Migration.

** *Main Duties:* **

* Develop and maintain application and reporting systems/solutions
* Using SQL to undertake updates and data analysis
* Undertake testing of system components
* Provide implementation and post implementation support
* Complete bug fixes and enhancements
* Provide support for application systems and solutions ensuring that incidents are dealt with in an accurate and timely fashion
* Gain an in-depth knowledge of our key business application (Advantage), database and reporting systems

** *Skills and Experience Required:* **

* Experienced knowledge of Microsoft SQL
* SQL 2014
* Strong analytical skills
* A good understanding of all SQL objects, their use, benefits and limitations
* Working knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and database administration
* Relevant degree (or equivalent qualification, experience)
