Red chilli recruitment have an urgent requirement for a Quality Assurance Inspector
Working for a successful marine company you will be required to:

Maintain all stock within the Company including responsibility for quality inspections.
Management of the stores room and other defined stock areas.
Stock checks to qualify stock data held on the system.
Undertake role of quality inspector, to inspect all manufactured parts from in house machining for engineering compliance to check drawings and whether goods are fit for purpose.
Maintain the quality standards of incoming material, in-process production and finished products.
Approval of incoming materials by visual inspection, perform dimensional inspection against drawings utilising precision measuring tools and equipment.
Provide acceptance or rejection for compliance to established standards and processes.
Administration of all incoming related documentation, purchase orders, drawings, delivery notes, material certification and certificates of conformity. Update and maintain inspection documents, forms, logs, conformance certificates and other records.
Raise NCRs where applicable, manage supplier concessions, non-conformances, rejections and returns.
Manage control of quarantine area and scrap.
Management of goods in with efficient processes in place for receipting goods in and managing non-conformances/remedial work.
Booking in goods received on the system.
Ensure all necessary supplier paperwork (certificates of conformity, material certificates, delivery notes) are received with the goods.
Kit allocation of stock to projects.
Checking all parts allocated to projects are to the drawing and fit for purpose.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experienced background and track record in Quality Assurance
Ability to read Engineering Drawings and converse on a technical level.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work extended hours as and when the needs of the business dictate.
Good team player.

£12-13hr
