Our client is a leading innovator in the production of autonomous vehicles; designing, building and delivering the UKs first driverless vehicles that can be used on public pavements, streets and on private land.

Due to the continued success of this project there is now an opportunity for an experienced vehicle / component assembler to join the team on an initial 1 year contract.

Responsible for assisting the assembly of the Pod from Chassis to completion, the successful applicant will be a practical, adaptable individual who takes great pride in their work. The ability to focus on quality and take great care with each part of the build is essential due to the high specification of the components and finished product.

Priorities within this role can change on a daily basis, therefore a flexible approach to work is required, and a practical interest in automotive technology would be an advantage.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week. Monday Friday, 8.30am 5.30pm + possible overtime particularly as Pods near completion.

Salary: £8.50 to £10.50 per hour dependent on experience
