Do you have great people skills? Our client is looking for someone with proven experience in providing professional and efficient administrative support based in Kingston.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, busy team and will be working closely with the HR department. This is an exciting time of growth and strategic development for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Provides administrative support for the recruitment process as delegated including; monitoring and tracking of vacancies, placement of agreed adverts, both internally and externally, sending for and receiving appropriate references, new starter DBS applications and compiling a CQC compliant file for each new starter
Provides administrative support for the appointment process as delegated including; issuing initial offer letters and confirmation offer letters and Terms & Conditions
Liaises with applicants from beginning to end of process including; discussing the role with applicants, telephone screening where appropriate and arranging a schedule of interviews with line manager
Ensure all relevant information is captured for current employees and is in date e.g. Maintain up to date DBS information by timely and accurate processing of relevant documentation and information. Ensure Visa information is valid, recorded and maintained as appropriate as delegated
Provide accurate and appropriate HR support to Managers in line with level of responsibility and authority where applicable
Complete general HR administration as delegated; managing communications, typing, emails, post and correspondence where appropriate etc.
Organise, attend and minute HR meetings as required where appropriate e.g. disciplinary, grievances etc.
Deals with issues, comments and complaints in line with policy and process
Person Responsibilities
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Attained or working towards CIPD qualification
Good basic numeracy & literacy
Proficient in IT; word, Excel, outlook, PowerPoint, internet
1 years experience in a similar role
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of administration processes and systems
Good report writing skills
Experience of using electronic reporting systems
Experience of working within policies and regulatory requirements
Professional manner and presentation
Good spoken and written English
Proven ability in effective communications at all levels
Reliable and punctual
Ability to use own initiative and to multi-task
Positive outlook
Highly organised and work methodically
Ability to work well in a team
