Our Client operates Community Alarm Service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing peace of mind to thousands of elderly or vulnerable customers, living in and around the Mansfield area.
The team takes pride in delivering a speedy but professional response to their callers, providing a vital link via the community alarm system. They do this by, depending on the circumstances, calling on the help of the response officers, named contacts or the emergency services.
Our clients are currently looking to recruit two Care Call Handlers to work from our Control Centre on a casual basis providing help and support to their clients.
If you can offer flexible cover for a variety of shifts patterns, worked 24 hours a day/7 days a week, throughout the week including weekends and bank holidays, often unsociable hours please read on.
Do you have?
- A sensitive and caring attitude towards the need of vulnerable people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to listen and respond of the needs of customers in a positive and helpful manner.
- The ability to work both on your own initiative and as a team member.
- Physically fit and able to move and handle customers given the appropriate training.
- The ability to input data accurately and analyse information.
Training will be provided and an ongoing degree of self-discipline will be required in order to keep up to date with any policy and procedural changes
Price / Salary: £7.50/hour
