Design Proposal Engineer

Location: London

£30,000 - £35,000 plus profit related bonus, travel expenses, pension and 22 days holiday excluding statutory days

Due to a period of prolonged growth and expansion, my client a well-established water recycling systems company, are looking for a Design Proposal Engineer to join their existing team. The company lead the way in what they do providing Rainwater & Greywater Recycling systems together with stormwater solutions across the UK.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Sales design, feasibility proposals, technical specifications for water reclamation systems, mainly rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling
- Technical drawings and design works from feasibility study to details design stage and tender phase
- Create and update design concepts for water reclamation systems and equipment lists
- Creation and analysis of tender specifications sales proposals and quotations
- Create, improve and update internal procedures and design guides for the sales team
- 90% office based and 10% site based (mainly Central London)

To apply you MUST have or hold:

- Supervisory experience as you will be managing a small team
- Have a very good understanding of AutoCAD 2D/3D and experience with BIM 3D modelling
- Fluent in English speaking and writing French or German would be an advantage
- A minimum of 12 months work experience as a design engineer for pumping systems, water treatment, water distribution, cooling systems, HVAC systems, CHP, heat pumps, biomass boiler or similar technologies in the renewable energy sector
- Rainwater harvesting & Greywater recycling experience would be a distinct advantage
- Experience with MS Office

Full training will be provided on mainly for rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems
