Technical Manager - Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £53,000 per annum

Location: South West, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol.

The Client:

Our client is a growing and well respected logistics company distributing across Europe.

The Role:

They are currently looking to hire a Technical Manager to support their distribution business.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

* Managing a team in support of all specification and technical enquiries related to:
- Technical support to Procurement for Backorder resolution
- Presentation on technical issues and projects to all levels within the business
- Provision of technical support and co-ordination on production transfers and associate changes at non-current phase
* Plan and assign resources to effectively manage and support employees to meet department targets
* Support Quality Assurance function when necessary, for key projects and/or business improvement activity

Applicants Should Have:

* HNC or degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
* MBA or alternative management qualification is advantageous
* Knowledge and proven experience in supervision and management
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Ability to handle numerous priorities
* Knowledge and understanding of various requirements (ensuring regulatory standards are met including technical and legal)
* Occupational proficiency in Manufacturing, Production, Design and/or Quality Engineering
