Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Credit Controller on behalf of a leading printing company based in Sheffield.
This is a large, successful business with a huge amount of scope for growth.

The role requires you to be an effective communicator and be comfortable working within a sociable team. You will be responsible for a high volume of customer accounts meaning that you must possess the ability to prioritize and work effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To administer the company's sales ledger function, including :
-Raising of the Company's sales invoices and credit notes.
-Ensuring the above invoices are accurate with regards to date, quantity, value, details, currency, analysis and VAT treatment.
-Ensuring the above invoices conform to customers specific requirements.
-Ensure cash is collected in a timely manner.
-Administering of the Invoice Discounting facility.
-Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation relevant to the sales ledger function, particularly with regard to the Company's activities
-Assisting with ad-hoc queries from the Company's customers, as required by the Financial Controller / Finance Director.
-To assist other members of the Finance and Administration team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
-To maintain a professional and confidential approach to any information to which you are exposed through working in the finance department.

The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent knowledge of credit control procedures and experience dealing with high volumes.
- Good communication both written and verbal.
- Accurate keyboard computer skills.
-Confidence.
- Sage 200 and/or Thasterns system experience (desirable, not essential).
- Self-motivated, efficient and organised.
