Shipping Head of Procurement

Faststream are working exclusively with a global ship management company based in London. The company are leaders in their industry and provide the very best expertise to ships and crew. In response to their huge growth in the last couple of months the client are now looking for their next Strategic Procurement professional to become a crucial part of their Procurement team. This exciting newly created position is for an experienced Procurement professional with extensive experience working for shipping or cruise companies.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing people and have leadership and development skills. You must have a strategic procurement background with evidence of working on various large projects and implementing new ideas. There is potential for quick progression with this role.

Key Requirements:

- Shipping and Cruise industry experience is essential.
- Strategic Procurement skills.
- MCIPS qualified.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Management skills.
- Global travel requirement
