Are you qualified in mechanical engineering or have experience in this field?

My client has a reputation as one of the UK's leading Commercial Building Maintenance providers. The organisation is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team on a mobile basis across Oxfordshire. The Mechanical Engineer will be recruited to support the operation with planned and unplanned maintenance including general maintenance tasks. Knowledge of steam pumps and industry practices is essential.

Responsibilities:

* Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment errors
* Carrying out building maintenance ppms, breakdowns servicing
* Working as part of an on site maintenance team maintaining FM equipment
* Identifying breakdown problems
* Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working properly
* Liaising with client departments, customers and colleagues
* Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment
* Controlling maintenance costs;
* Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
* Working with specialist equipment

Personal Requirements:

* HVAC Experience
* Proven track experience in a similar role
* Problem solver and able to think on your feet
* Strong communications skills
* Awareness of health and safety concerns associated with the job
