Role - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary - £38,000
Ref - 3020
Location - Cambridgeshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a high skill level in both electrical and mechanical practices. Our client, a forward thinking food manufacturing organisation, requires an Engineer with skills in mechanical and electrical disciplines to work at their plant in Cambridgeshire.

Your principle duties will involve the day to day repair and maintenance of equipment on site. You will work pro-actively to ensure efficiency of production runs and find permanent solutions to engineering problems. Carry out all reporting and documentation required by the Engineering Department. You will also be responsible for compliance with all relevant Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Continuous Improvement standards.

The ideal engineer for this position will meet the following criteria;
* Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within the food industry.
* A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or qualification to ONC/HNC level or equivalent
* Possess formal electrical qualifications C&G or above.
* Strong organisational and documentation skills.
* A good working knowledge of PLC control systems, inverter drives and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Good communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships.
* A hands on approach to problem solving.
* Must be a team player.
