Assistant Operations Manager - £30K- Crayford

A family owned freight forwarder who specialises in temperature controlled freight forwarding are currently looking for an experienced assistant operations manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently an assistant manager or would like to take the next step in their freight forwarding career!

You might have experience in Ocean Freight and Air Freight or you might be an expert in European and UK road Freight!

You need to have experience working in a freight forwarder or haulier.

Package

Salary: £30K

Hours: 08:30 - 17:30

Role:

Support the Operations Manager with the development of the operations team

Identify key areas for improvement based on performance results.

Ensure all commercial agreements are met and exceeded where possible

Assist in ensuring that the International Operations team meet expectations and manage these appropriately where necessary

Assist in reviewing training requirements and contribute to a purposeful training plan for the Operations Team reviewing the benefits to the business of all training delivered.
