Working across a multitude of sectors including social housing, hospitals, leisure, care homes, universities, schools and care homes this national property maintenance contractor are looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to develop opportunities to quote or tender for work. This will cover all of the services that they provide which include painting/ decorating, planned maintenance & refurbishment. You will be tasked with raising the profile of the company brand and services within the sectors they work in growing the business in line with company expectation and strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sell company services to new and existing clients in line with core business strategic objectives/target markets.
* Have a thorough understanding of office, regional, sector & company strategy and ensure this is communicated to customers.
* At all times present a professional image of the business to new and existing clients.
* At all times demonstrate a diligent & proactive approach to the role that is carried out with honesty & integrity.
* Ensure that all administrative tasks, including reporting and recording on the CRM system, are completed and submitted within timescales and to required standard.
* Ensure that communication with both internal & external customers is timely, accurate and done in a professional manner.
* Attend and participate at regional & national sales meetings, networking events and seminars where required.
* Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity as well as changes within our key markets and feed this back into the business.
* Work closely and communicate effectively with operational teams to identify & target prospective clients and in due course develop opportunity with this group.
* Work closely with the marketing department to ensure assist with development of case studies, literature and targeted marketing campaigns.
* Work closely with the bid team and provide valuable input to the bid and approved list processes.
* Achieve company standard of performance in all areas where service standards exist (diary management, call planning, F2F calls made, KPIs, campaign activity etc.).
* Ensure that the Companies equality and diversity policies are implemented.
* Support management with any other reasonable activities aimed at meeting the business needs

Price / Salary: £35000 - £38000/annum + Bonus + Car/ Allowance
