Nursery Manager Needed

An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced, confident, qualify and focused Nursery Manager to join a beautiful well established child focused childrens day nursery.

You, as the nursery manager will have sole management of the day-to-day running of the nursery and supporting your nursery nurse team in delivering the very best practice, care and learning for each child.

You, as the nursery manager will have responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the nursery setting, including managing the nursery budget, responsibility for the nursery nurse team management and deployment, supporting the nursery nurse team through supervisions, ensuring childrens records and other records are up to date. The nursery manager will be supported by a committed and supportive management team.

Nursery Manager requirements:

Childcare qualification Level 3 or above
Previous nursery management experience
A sound track record in nursery management
Good leadership skills with the ability to support, develop and motivate a staff team
Strong knowledge of running a nursery including legal and statutory requirement, policies and procedures and experience of Ofsted inspections
A solid knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
A strong knowledge of health and safety
Ability to build good working relationships with relevant agencies, schools and other childcare professionals
