We currently have a vacancy for a Fleet Administration Manager to join our team based at our High Wycombe depot (London Road, Loudwater, High Wycombe, HP10 9TD).
This is an ideal role for someone with a transport background e.g Transport Manager, Senior Traffic Dispatcher, who has a good understanding of compliance.
Within this role you will be working closely with an established team and strong people management skills are essential.
Reporting to the Fleet Compliance Manager, the Fleet Administration Managers role is to manage the central fleet administration function to ensure all legislative and statutory governance is maintained and to provide an efficient and effective service to the Fleet function and the wider operational business. This role is responsible for managing and supporting fleet administrative staff, whilst monitoring and improving the efficiency of systems and procedures.
The Fleet Administration Manager is responsible for ensuring that the administrative team is fully managed, which will include conducting 121`s, annual appraisals and quarterly team meetings.
Actively supporting and working in partnership with the Regional Fleet Teams, to ensure timely and accurate information is produced to support the preparing of reports, raising of invoices and resolution of queries.
This role is a hands-on role involving the use of many personal skills such as relationship management, people and resource management. With the ability to build key internal relationships at all levels up to Senior Management within the business across a number of departments as well as the ability to build key relationships with external customers.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Practical understanding of O Licence, vehicle hire/lease hire and vehicle taxation management
- Proven track record of working to, and achieving service delivery of KPI`s
- Management of an administrative team
- Strong Leadership and people skills with a good coaching ability
- Strong administrative experience
- Demonstrable achievement within a transport focussed environment
- Managerial CPC qualification (desirable not essential)
