One of Europe's largest suppliers of engineering and maintenance products, a renowned company with over 30 years experience in the industry is looking for an experienced sales advisor to join an established sales team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a back ground in sales but wishing to make the move away from a traditional call centre.

This is a mutli-platform role, responding to customers via phone, email or web based sourcing tool. Candidates will need both excellent customer service skills and strong computer skills in order to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:

* Taking inbound enquires from customers via phone and email and processing sales orders using the in house systems
* Dealing with customer queries and complaints while providing technical product information and general customer service.
* Provide a high level of customer service while delivering daily administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department
* Sourcing items from other suppliers when required
* Positively promote the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional image is provided at all times

Key Skills:

* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner with great interpersonal skills
* Establish IT skills, including an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft programmes
* A good understanding of sales, purchasing and cost procedures
* Excellent organisational skills that demonstrating a methodical approach to work
* Willingness to learn and be flexible to their working approach
