My client is a local and progressive company which has been serving the salvage industry for over 50 years. The company provides a one of the UK`s most effective salvage operations in the UK. With the company going from strength to strength they are now recruiting for talented FLT drivers

My Client a local company based near Benfleet, to be successful you will be required to have either a CB license or a Reach License. The role itself will be based outside all year round so you have to be quite thick skinned and willing to work in all weather conditions. The position required you to be extremely skilled on the FLT because you will be dealing with large and heavy objects which are not always very stable, you could say a sixth sense is required in terms of using the FLT!

Hours are either 07:30-16:30 or 08:30-17:30. The pay is £17821 per year working roughly 42.5 hours a week, the company offer many benefits including pension, free parking, an annual Christmas party and bonus and most importantly room to progress within the company.

You will need to be a confident forklift driver with good experience as you will be balancing cars to move from one place to another. You will have to have good common sense and use your initiative as you will be working in a busy environment.
